Apply In-Peron

1. To obtain a birth certificate, the applicant will need to visit a Territorial Agent, use the link to find an agent Link
2. The applicant can also submit the application at the address mentioned on the website, using the following Link.
3. Download and complete the application form, here is the Link.
4. Attach all relevant documents as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Make a payment of 10$ at the office, find fee-related information under the “Fees” section of this page.
6. The applicant shall receive their certificate by mail within 10 to 15 days from the submission of the application.

Apply by Online

1. The applicant can apply for a birth certificate through the Yukon Vital Statistics website, using the following Link.
2. Click on “Download PDF application”.
3. Print and fill in the application form.
4. Attach all relevant documents as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Scan a copy of the completed application form and email it to the following email ID: [email protected]
6. The applicant shall receive their birth certificate by mail within 10 to 15 business days.

Eligibility

• The applicant should have had their birth registered in Yukon.
