Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application for NOC for Road Cutting in West Bengal is available in the PWD, West Bengal contact link
2. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure to carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing the procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing the procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Fees is calculated as – Utilized NH Land * Prevailing circle rate per square unit area/10*12 (Rs/sq ft/month).
6. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the application form will be accepted by concerned authorities.
7. The application will be put up for any objection from public domains for 30 days.
8. If there is no objection from any domain within 30 days, applicant will be called by concerned officials to collect their NOC certificate from the office.
9. If there are no updates about application, applicant can reach the office to know status of their application.

1. Application for NOC for Road Cutting in West Bengal is available in the following application link
2. Applicant must choose the “Other Services” option for road cutting permission.
3. If applicant is an existing user, they can login directly using their “Username” and “Password”.
4. If applicant is a new user, they have to register by clicking on the “Sign Up” button.
5. Applicant must enter all information requested in the new user registration portal and finally click on “Register” button.
6. Applicant must enter necessary information in the application form.
7. Applicant must upload digital copies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
8. Finally, click on the “Submit” button.
9. Fee for this procedure can be paid online.
10. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the application form will be accepted by concerned authorities.
11. The application will be put up for any objection from public domains for 30 days.
12. If there is no objection from any domain within 30 days, applicant will be called by concerned officials to collect their NOC certificate from the office or via post.
13. If there are no updates about application, applicant can reach the office to know status of their application.

Validity

The NOC is valid until the project gets over with. For another project, new NOC should be applied.

Instructions

• NOC is required for any road cutting related projects.
• This NOC helps an individual or an organization to carry on their project legally without any damage to the petroleum, oil or water lines that are underground.
• The road cutting project cannot be carried out for 3 months during monsoon seasons and for 15 days prior to any local festival.
