Uttar Pradesh - Apply for Social Security Old Age Pension Scheme

Apply In-Person:
- The beneficiaries will be selected by the concerned village panchayat /Sub-Collector / City Magistrate Office. The proposal will be sent by the District Block Office / District Social Welfare Officer, Office for the approval. The applicants are advised to approach their concerned village panchayat /Sub-Collector / City Magistrate Office where the applicant resides as appropriate.

In the given page please select the menu “DIRECTORY > PUBLIC UTILITIES > Municipalities” for contact details AND Link please use the appropriate button for respective contact details AND Panchayat contact link link in the given page please select the hyperlink against the respective state as per requirement for contact details.
- Please visit the respective office. Please consult with the concerned authority at the office to find the right office to apply for the scheme. Go to the respective office. Consult with the designated authority about the applying procedure for this scheme. Collect the application form or write on a plain A4 sheet as advised.
- Complete the application form. Attach the document as per the “Required Documents” section of this page and submit it to the designated receiving authority as advised.
- After receiving the application, authorities will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place the application will be accepted.
- Please find the fee details provided under the “Fees” section of this page.
- The authorities will make entries about this application in the manual record or electronically using the computer.*Acknowledgement receipt will be given against every form received. So, collect it and please keep it safe for future reference.
- Applicant will be informed of the probable date of getting approval for the scheme.
- ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile.
- This application will be processed further. Concerned authorities will verify the applicant’s details and documents. If required, the authorities will visit the applicant’s place as per the address provided on the application form to make field verification.
- After verification, these applications will be sent to the respective sanctioning department with the consent of the verification authorities.
- Concerned sanctioning authority will take the right decision against the appeal.
- The status, viz. Approval or Rejection, if any, will be conveyed to the applicant through an “SMS”.
- The entire process can be completed within 45 days of receipt of application. Once approved, the pensioner will be eligible to get the pension from the first week of next month onwards (or as per sanctioned period) Based on the availability of funds.
- For any updates and clarification, the applicant shall revisit the office where they applied.

- In the given home page, please click on the “Apply Online” option to reach the “Fill the application form for old age pension run by Social Welfare Department” page. Please complete the page prompts as appropriate. Upload the required documents as applicable. Please enter the captcha at the prompted space as applicable and click on the “SUBMIT” button to reach the “Application Confirmation Page” with a registration ID. Please save the registration ID for future reference.
- Now come back to the home page. Here, please click on the “Application Status” option to reach the “Registered Applicant Login” page. Please select the “OldAge Pension” from the dropdown list and then enter the registration ID and mobile number at the given space as appropriate. Please enter the captchat at the prompted space and then click on the “Log In” button to reach the dashboard page.
- Here, please click on the “STEP-II-Application Pending For Final Lock” option to gat a new page. Please process the page requirements as appropriate. Upload the documents as applicable. Enter the captcha at the given space and then click on the “Update Detail” button and then click on the “FINAL SUBMIT” button to get a popup message “Success! Form Finally Submitted”.
- Please click on the “OK” button to reach the dashboard page. Here, please click on the “STEP-III-Application Pending For Aadhaar Verification” option to reach a new page.
- Here, please complete the page prompts as appropriate. Click the checkbox for the declaration. Enter the captcha at the given space and then click on the “Click For Aadhaar Authentication” button and process the on screen message/information, if any to reach the dashboard.
- Now please click on the “Print Application” button on the left part of the screen and get the printout of the online application form.
- Please visit the respective office and submit the application form along with the documents for further processing.
- This application will be processed by the respective department as per how it will be processed in person.
- Applicant will be informed of the probable date of getting approval for the scheme.

- Note:
- Old age pension scheme is determined in different schemes as named by the respective state social welfare / revenue department as appropriate.
- The local administrative department must identify and provide old aged pensions to eligible beneficiaries.
- Applicant has to bring original documents to the applying office while applying for cross verification purpose and scanning, if required.
- Eligible pension amount fixed by the Government from time to time shall be sent to the beneficiary through bank account / post office account / money order / distributed personally as per the applicable norms of the respective state.
- Old age pension scheme is determined in different schemes as named by the respective state social welfare / revenue department as appropriate.

EligibilityEdit
- Applicant should be citizen of India.
- Applicant must be a permanent Resident of the respective State (Or as per the time period fixed by the respective state).
- No person shall be eligible for the pension, if the person applied for any other Social Welfare pensions.
- Age should be 60 (or the age limit as fixed by the respective state) and above.
- The applicant should fall under Below Poverty Line (BPL).
- Applicant should not be a recipient of salary / pension / family pension from Central Government / other State Governments.
- Any person receiving pension from any Government or Local/ Statutory Body or from any organization substantially financed by any Government or Local/ Statutory Body will not be eligible to apply for this scheme.

- Usually the application will be processed within 45 days of receipt of application. But, the sanction of the incentive will be processed as per the department’s timeline based on the current financial year requirements.

InstructionsEdit
- The monthly pension - Rs 200 (or the amount fixed by the respective state) for persons between 60 years and 79 years of age will be provided.
- For persons who are 80 years and above the pension is Rs 500 (or the amount fixed by the respective state) per month.
- Without cross signature on photograph and signature on the undertaking, the application will be rejected.
- Do not submit fake documents as proof to obtain this certificate.
- Incomplete application will be rejected.
- Avoid spelling mistakes while filling the application form.
- Applicant will be penalized if any information provided by the applicant while applying for this scheme is being found false or incorrect.
