Apply In-Person:
- The application form is available in the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Contact link
- The applicant can also use the following link to download form Application Form Link
- The applicant should make sure to carry all the documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the form and attach the photocopies of the documents that are needed along with the application form before submitting.
- Once completed, the applicant should submit the form to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
- The fee for this procedure has been mentioned under the “Fees” section of this page.
- Concerned authorities will look into the application form and interview the applicant before issuing it.
- Approval will be provided within 6 to 10 months.
- If the approval has not been given within 6 to 10 months, the applicant can visit the office to know the status of their application.

- If the applicant is a new user, they have to register first by clicking on the “Create an account” option.
- The applicant has to provide their own email address when they create an account.
- While registering, the applicant has to provide all necessary information in the application form and finally click on the “Sign Up” button.
- Once the registration is successful, the applicant can log in with their “Email” and “Password”.
- After logging in, the applicant has to choose the service necessary for them.
- The applicant must provide all information necessary for the application procedure online.

- After getting approval from concerned authorities, a green card will be provided within 6 to 10 months through mail.

- If the applicant is an existing user, they can log in directly using their receipt number.
- If the applicant is a new user, they have to register first by clicking on the “Sign up” option.
- While registering, the applicant has to provide all necessary information in the application form and finally click on the “Sign up” button.
- Once the registration is successful, the applicant can track the application with their Receipt Number.
- After logging in, the applicant has to choose the service necessary for them.
- The applicant must provide all the information necessary for the application procedure online.
- Finally, the applicant has to click on the “check status” button.

- A copy of government issued identification
- A copy of latest Form I-797
- A copy of the page in your passport showing the I-551 stamp
- Original or copy Green Card (as per requirement)
- Proof of correct biographical data
- Evidence of the employment (within the last six months)
- Evidence of U.S. residence (such as utility bills)
- Copy of original marriage or birth certificate

- To request that we remove the conditions on your permanent resident status, you must file Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, or Form I-829, Petition by Investor to Remove Conditions on Permanent Resident Status.
- Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card, cannot be submitted.
