Required Documents

• One color photo 30mm x 40mm (photo on the white background).
• Passport of the citizen of Turkmenistan and its copy (for those who have reached 16 years of age).
• Birth certificate and a copy (in the case of non safety of the birth certificate of a citizen or a birth certificate, certificate of absence of civil status act).
• Part of permanent residence for one (1) month (for citizens of Turkmenistan, who left for permanent residence outside of Turkmenistan is not needed).
• Document certifying accommodation in a foreign country the citizens of Turkmenistan, who left for permanent residence outside of Turkmenistan and its counterpart.
• Certificate of divorce or custody and a copy (in the case of non safety of the citizen certificate of custody or divorce records and act on the conclusion or termination of the marriage certificate of absence of civil status act).
• Military ID and a copy or a certificate from the military commissariat of respect for military service (for military service certificate).
• Permission for the military leadership of the corresponding ministries and departments (valid for 6 months).
• Receipt of payment of the state fee for (replacement) Turkmenistan passport for departure from and entry to Turkmenistan Turkmenistan or proof of exemption from payment of state duty for (replacement) of the passport.
• Turkmenistan passport of parents of children under the age of 16 and their copies.

Instructions

Passport issued on every citizen of Turkmenistan, including minors.

Passport is issued at the personal request of the citizen. Children under the age of 18 and persons recognized as incapable, passports are issued on the basis of a notarized request of one of the parents or their legal representatives. When making a passport for a minor child's presence is mandatory.

Passport shall be delivered personally to the owner or his legal representative on receipt by the applicant providing identity documents.
