Tripura - Apply for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)

ProcedureEdit

  • The “Tripura TET” is conducted by the Teachers Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in government or private schools.
  • There will be an official notification release by the respective board for Tripura TET. On the issue of notification, the deserving candidates shall apply to register for the Tripura TET.


Apply Online

  1. The candidate shall use the following link to reach the respective portal to apply online Link
  2. In the given page, please scroll down and click on the “APPLY ONLINE” button to reach the “New User Registration” page. Please complete the page prompts as appropriate. Please provide a valid Email ID and a mobile number.
  3. Once the details are entered, please click on the “Register” button to get a “Registration Successful. Registration Number….” message. The applicant shall save the registration number.
  4. The applicant shall visit the login page (the applicant shall use the registration number/Email ID to login). Please use the login credentials as appropriate. Enter the verification code at the prompted space and then click on the “Login” button to login.
  5. Once login, the user will reach the online application page. Please complete the prompts for the “Personal Details” section and click on the “Next” button to reach the “Communication Details” section.
  6. Please complete the prompts for the “Communication Details” section and click on the “Next” button to reach the “File Uploads” section.
  7. Here, please upload the photo and signature using the applicable prompt as appropriate and click on the “Submit” button to reach the “User Account Information” page.
  8. Please go through the information and click on the “Apply Online” button under the required paper type as applicable to reach the next page.
  9. Here, please select the applicable eligible criteria from the dropdown list under “Select Eligibility Criteria” and process the other given prompts as appropriate. Once the details are filled in, please click on the “Finalize Application” button to get a new page with entered details.
  10. Please go through the details and click on the “Finalize” button to get a message popup. Please click on the “OK” option to reach a new page with the details of the applicant. Please scroll down and click on the “Make Payment” button to reach the “Payment Information” page.
  11. Please click on the “Pay” button at the bottom to reach the payment gateway page.
  12. Please process the payment gateway page as per the online payment option as applicable to complete the submission of application. Also, the online application form will be provided for the user to download or save for future use.
  13. This application will be processed by the respective department. Once the department approves the application, the applicant will get intimation and the admit card will be provided as per applicable norms.

EligibilityEdit

  • The candidate should be the citizen of India.
  • The age limit for the candidates is 18 Years to 40 Years.
  • For those who belong to SC, ST, and OBC, age relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 Years.
  • Candidates should be class 12 passed or a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 45 per cent marks.
  • Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training programme/course.

  • The TET application fee is prescribed by the respective exam bodies.

  • The approved application is valid for the period (year) for which the examination is notified.
