Procedure

1. To obtain a special marriage license for visitors, applicants may apply at the Registry Office in Port of Spain (next to the Courts) or at the District Warden's Office.
2. Applicants will be asked to present these documents:
   1. Valid ID of both parties, preferably passport.
   2. Original divorce absolute or death certificate of previous spouse and certified translation thereto, if applicable.
   3. Proof of entry into Trinidad and Tobago.
3. Pay the application fee.

Eligibility

• Both parties must be non-residents of Trinidad and Tobago (i.e. not normally residing in Trinidad and Tobago;
• And for citizens of Trinidad and Tobago, they must not normally reside in Trinidad and Tobago for at least 3 years).

Fees

Application Fee: $300.00

Validity
