To Apply for National Goods Carriage (All India) Permit in Telangana the applicant has to approach the RTO office to which your area belongs to. Following link can provide you information related to the list of RTO office : RTO Office List
Make sure you have completed application. Link : permit link form 46 & 48 (Goods carriage National Permit).
Make sure you have all the necessary documents

As a first step, please schedule an appointment at an appropriate date and time that is suitable for you.
Application forms can be obtained from the appropriate RTO offices that should be completed and presented with appropriate fees.
Present the completed application forms in one of the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.
After checking the vehicle for its correctness and other appropriate requirements the application will be processed.

Completed Application form 46 (GRANT OF AUTHORISATION FOR TOURIST PERMIT OR NATIONAL PERMIT), 48 (GRANT OF NATIONAL PERMIT).
Registration Certificate of the vehicle.
Fitness Certificate of the vehicle.
Aadhaar Card
Insurance Certificate of the vehicle.
Proof of payment of tax for the current Quarter to the Home State .
Authorisation fee of Rs.500/- in the form of Treasury Challan.
Demand drafts drawn in favour of the Authorities prescribed in respect of other states towards payment of composite taxes.
Payment of green tax wherever applicable.

EligibilityEdit

You should be the owner of the vehicle.
The age of the vehicle should not exceed 12 years for Goods Carriage National Permit .

ValidityEdit

Permit is usually valid for 5 years
The renewal of permit can be obtained with Vehicle fitness certificate and FC as per authorities of concerned RTO
The age of the vehicle is also considered to restrict the validity of the permit

NOTE: Validity differs with the type of vehicle and also for the load the vehicle can manage

Need for the DocumentEdit

Goods Carriage National Permit is needed for a vehicle operator to ply his vehicle in more than 4 states.

Goods Carriage National Permit means a permit granted by authority to a goods carriage vehicle to operate through-out India or in such States not being less than four in number including the states in which the permit is issued

The age of the vehicle should not exceed 12 years.
