Apply In-Person:

  1. Application for obtaining license or permit for a day care centre is available in Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA) contact link
  2. Applicants must provide all information that is requested in the application form.
  3. Applicants should make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
  4. Documents needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Applicants must attach photocopies of all documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form before submitting the application form.
  6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
  7. If all these steps were followed properly by the Applicants, the registration will be provided within 2 months.
  8. If there is no information regarding the document is provided within the mentioned time period, then, the Applicants can visit the office to know status of their application.

  1. Application form for registering a day-care centre in Tanzania is available at the following link
  2. If Applicants is an existing user, they can log in directly using their “Username” and “Password”.
  3. If Applicants is new user, they have to register first before logging in.
  4. Once logging in, the Applicants have to select the “Entity Type” and the application form will be opened.
  5. Applicants must provide needed information in the application form.
  6. Applicants should attach digital copies of documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
  7. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are given under “Required Documents” section of this page.
  8. Fee for this procedure can be paid online.
  9. If all these procedures were followed properly by the Applicants, the license will be provided within 2 months.
