- To Endorse Third Party Interest (Caveat) on a Motor Vehicle in person, the applicant should contact the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority Head Office.

- The interested party writes to the licensing office and makes declaration of instrument to pay stamp duty.
- The applicant has to make sure that he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
- Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
- Documents are delivered to Licensing office for acknowledgement and if the officer is satisfied with the details, an assessment to pay endorsement fee of GHS 50, 000 will be raised.
- The interested party makes payment to the bank then returns the evidence to Licensing office.
- Upon confirmation of payment, the application will be processed and the registration book with Third Party Endorsement issued.
- The processing time for this procedure is 1 day.

- The law requires all motor vehicles to be insured in Ghana, and the insurance is supposed to cover against financial loss, theft damages and third party liabilities.
