Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for joining the Tanzania Police Force (University Student) in Tanzania, the applicant has to visit the Tanzania Police Headquarters contact link
2. Application form is available under the “Documents to Use” section of this page.
3. Applicant must provide all the information that is requested in the application form.
4. Applicant should make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all the documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
5. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Applicant must attach photocopies of all the documents along with the application form before submitting it at the office.
7. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
8. After the application gets approved, the applicant has to go through a written and physical fitness test on mentioned dates (dates will be provided by the concerned authorities).
9. Individuals who have passed these tests are only able to join the police force.
10. If any individual fails to pass any one of these tests, they can re-attempt it in the next year.
11. If all these procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the procedure would be done within 3-6 months.
