Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for getting a Underwriting and Loss Assessment License or permit is available in Business Registration and Licensing Agency of Tanzania Link
2. Applicant should make sure to provide all necessary information in the application form.
3. Applicant must make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of documents and whichever original document is needed along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
6. Information about payment of fees will be provided by concerned authorities at the office.
7. Fee must be paid while submitting the completed application form along with all the needed documents at the office.
8. The applicant will be notified regarding the license availability within 45 days via SMS.
9. Applicant can visit the office and collect their license once they got the notification.
10. If there is no notification provided by concerned authorities even after 45 days, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
