Apply In-Person:

  1. Application form for getting a referred visa is available in Immigration Services Department contact link.
  2. Applicant must provide all information that is requested in the application form.
  3. Applicant should make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all the documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
  4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Applicant should make sure to attach photocopies of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure along with the application form while submitting the form at the office.
  6. The Fee for this procedure can be paid as per the authority’s request.
  7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the visa will be provided within a stipulated period of time.


Apply Online

  1. Application form for getting a referred visa is available in the following website application link.
  2. Start the application process by clicking on “APPLY FOR A NEW VISA” button under “New Application”.
  3. Applicant should make sure to provide all information in the application page and click on “Start New Application”.
  4. On the following page, click on “Proceed to Next step” button.
  5. In the new page, fill in the essential details and click on “Save and continue” button.
  6. Fill in the required details for each tab and click on “Save and continue” button.
  7. Applicant must upload digital copies of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
  8. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
  9. Finally, click on “Save and Continue” button for submitting the form online.
  10. Fee for this procedure can be paid online by clicking on “Pay Now” button.
  11. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the visa will be provided within a week via e-visa or post.
  12. If no information regarding the visa is provided to the applicant, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

  • Covering Letter from any legally registered Institution or Company for the referred visit.
  • Copy of the host institution/Company registration documents, like Certificate of Incorporation, TIN, Business License, etc;
  • Copy of Residence Permit and passport if the host individual is a foreign national, or copy of passport or national ID if the host is a Tanzanian citizen;
  • Filled-in Security Bond
