Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for getting a private generation of electricity is available in the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) contact link
2. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure to carry all documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Applicant must carry both photocopies and originals of these necessary documents.
5. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
6. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
7. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the private generation of electricity is provided within one week.
