Apply In-Person:
- Application for getting a live animal’s export permit or license in Tanzania is available in Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries contact link
- Applicant must provide all information needed in the application form.
- Applicant should make sure to carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
- Documents that are needed for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Applicant must attach photocopies of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure along with the application form and then, submit it to the respective office.
- Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
- If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the permit will be issued within 12 days.
- Applicant will get a notification regarding the availability of their permit within 12 days, via SMS.
- After getting the notification, applicant can visit the office for getting the permit.
- If there is no information regarding the license is provided within 12 days, applicant can visit the office for getting status of their application.

Any business owner or individual who wants to export Live Animals from Tanzania to all other parts of the country are eligible.

- No one can export live animals in Tanzania without a valid permit.
- Applicant should make sure to follow all information provided by concerned authorities properly.
