Apply Online

  1. Use the following link to access portal of Election Commission of India : Portal Link
  2. As you scroll down the page look for "Correction Of Entries"with text "Fill Form 8 to get EPIC with updated or replacement or marking of PwD".
  3. Make selection appropriately "Fill Form 8" or if you are out of India choose "Fill Form 8 Overseas" and follow the prompts.



Apply In-Person:

  1. In order to change address in the voter's list, applicant can download "Form-8" application from the portal link, scrolldown and look for "Correction Of Entries" option and click "Download" to download application form.
  2. The form has all the necessary guidelines for filling it in. Complete the application form with correct details. Attach required documents as per our required document section.
  3. Also in the same portal page look for option "Book a Call with BLO" and click on it and enter requested information to book a call with local officer and they should be able to guide you.
  4. Once the applicationis submitted, an acknowledgement will be issued in the form of an application reference number, which can be used to track the application status.
  5. This application will be processed internally to make necessary changes as per department protocol.
  6. The details will be removed from the voter list accordingly.

Need for the DocumentEdit

  • Voter ID card is considered as one of the vital documents in considering ones address proof when applying for government services (Passport, Pan etc)
  • In case there is a change of address within constituency or outside constituency, then apply for transfer of address on the voter ID.
