ProcedureEdit

  • A village map will have details of all the survey numbers of the village both agricultural, non-agricultural including, topographical details.
  • The applicant may reach for the offline process in case of the online service is unavailable for the requested area.
  • For offline procedure, the applicant shall reach the respective tahsildhar / taluk office to apply Or through RTI at the respective region office (Public Information Officer).


Apply Online

  1. The applicant shall visit the following online portal to apply Link
  2. In the given page, please click on the “E-SERVICE” menu and then choose the “BUY MAPS > VILLAGE MAPS” option to get a new page.
  3. Here, please select the respective option from dropdown list for “District”, "Taluk”, “Village” and then click on the “submit” button to get the list.
  4. The applicant shall click on the checkbox provided under “Select” as appropriate and then click on the “Next” button to reach the “BUYER DETAILS” page.
  5. Please complete the page prompts as appropriate. Please enter the purpose for which the map is required. Enter the captcha at the given space as appropriate. Please click on the checkbox for the declaration. Once the mandatory details are filled in, please click on the “submit” button to get another page.
  6. In the given page, the applicant shall click on the “Preview” button against the sheet as appropriate to preview the respective sheet. Please click on the checkbox for the declaration. Extended information will be provided. Please go through the details and click on the “Close’’ button. Please click on the “Pay” button at the bottom to reach the payment gateway page.
  7. In the payment gateway page, select and fill applicable details to process the online payment as per the applicant’s payment choice.
  8. Once the online payment process is complete, you will get an acknowledgement. Please keep it for future reference.
  9. The applicant will get redirected to a page for downloading the village map. Please use the applicable button (Download Map) to download the map.
  10. While applying online, the payment details will be provided. Here, Rs.200 per page will be charged.



Apply In-Person:

  1. To obtain the village map offline, the applicant shall approach their respective tahsildhar/taluk office having jurisdiction over the area.
  2. Contact Link Select districts option from the left part of the screen. In the given page, please select the name of the district to reach the respective district page. Here, select the hyperlink for respective portal. In the district portal, please select “DIRECTORY>PUBLIC UTILITIES>Municipalities “ or “DIRECTORY >Contact Directory” or “ABOUT DISTRICT>ADMINISTRATIVE SETUP> Revenue Administration” option for contact details.
  3. Please visit the respective office and consult with the designated authority. The authority will provide the details for applying. The applicant shall meet the respective authority as advised and collect the application form or write on a plain A4 sheet as advised.
  4. Please complete the application form. Attach the documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page along with the appropriate payment of fees as per acceptable mode (challan/DD) and submit it to the designated receiving authority as advised.
  5. After receiving the application, the authorities will examine the application and other documents furnished. If all are in place, the application will be accepted and an acknowledgement receipt will be provided. Please keep it safe for future reference.
  6. ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. So, keep track of the notification from the department.
  7. The department will process the application internally.
  8. After all the processing is complete, the department will get the copy of village map ready.
  9. The copy of village map will be hand-delivered or delivered through post or as per applicable norms.
  10. This entire process can be completed within 15 working days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Apply in person at the region office (Public Information Officer)

  1. The applicant shall visit the respective regional office having jurisdiction over the area.

  3. Please visit the respective office and meet the concerned Public Information Officer or the designated authority.
  4. The authorities will provide information on the applying procedure. Please follow their guidelines to apply.
  5. The applicant shall obtain the application form, complete it with mandatory details and attach the documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page along with the appropriate payment of fees as per acceptable mode (challan/DD) and submit it to the designated receiving authority as advised.
  6. The authorities will process the request. Once the map is ready, it will be delivered as per applicable norms and as per the timeline provided by the authorities.
  7. The map may be delivered across the table on the same day too.
  8. For payment of fees, please adhere to the authorities advise.

EligibilityEdit

  • Applicant should be a citizen of India.
  • Those who are 18 years and above are eligible to apply.
  • Any person who is eligible as stated above and wishes to obtain a copy of the village map can apply.
  • The applicant may purchase a maximum of 10 maps or the number fixed by the respective state in one transaction per person / month.



FeesEdit

  • The applicant shall pay the processing fee/service charge, if any, as per the authorities quote at the time of applying.
  • The applicant has to pay the processing fee or the printout charges of Rs.200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) or the applicable amount as advised by the authorities for per page of the map.



ValidityEdit

  • The village map is a timely response to the citizen request for information. The validity of the information counts rather than the document.
  • The village map stand valid till any land acquisition happens from the government side.

  • The resale or redistribution of the village map is a criminal offence.
  • The village maps are only used as a location map and also identification of land parcels of survey numbers and details.
  • Any alteration of village boundaries, Field boundaries and details by a buyer is also a criminal offence.
  • The details mentioned in the map may or may not be available in reality.
  • Incomplete application will be rejected.
  • Avoid spelling mistakes while filling the application form.
