Apply Online

  1. To Apply for Pudhumai Penn Scheme, the applicant has to make the application via the following link
  2. Click on the ‘Institutes/College’ tab and enter the username and password of the institute/college with the help of the principal and click on the ‘Login’ button.
  3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Review the application and click submit.
  6. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  7. All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the particular circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
  8. Once everything is approved the incentive amount under this scheme will be disbursed directly into the student’s Bank Account.
  9. This entire process can be completed within 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.


Apply Through CSC

  1. To Apply for Pudhumai Penn Scheme, the applicant has to approach respective “CSC” centre link
    NOTE: The applicant has to select state, district and block name from the drop-down menu, or the applicant has to click on their respective district to find nearby centres.
  2. Please visit the centre and consult with the centre operator for your requirement.
  3. If the operator issues an application form, then collect it and pay the requisite fee. Please complete the application form.
  4. Now, submit the completed application along with the required documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
  5. The operator will process the application online. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on their registered mobile number.
  6. Applicant has to make necessary payment as centre operator quotes and don’t forget to take the receipt.
  7. This application will be forwarded to the respective department for further processing.
  8. ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. Please keep track of the notification.
  9. The submitted application will be processed by the department. A designated authority (supply officer) will verify the submitted documents and inspect the area of the applicant to clarify the applicant’s details.
  10. Once everything is approved the incentive amount under this scheme will be disbursed directly into the student’s Bank Account.
  11. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection will be conveyed to the applicant through an “SMS” or applicable norms.

Need for the DocumentEdit

  • Pudhumai Penn scheme provides financial assistance to girl students studying in 6th-12th class in government institutions till they complete their degree, diploma, ITI or any other recognised course. An amount of Rs.1,000 per month is given to all girls to complete their education under the scheme.
