Procedure

1.) You need a valid driving permit to practice driving and make driving tests. When you apply for a provisional driving license checks Transport Agency if you meet the demands of society on everyone to take a driving license.

If you do not hold any driver's license, you must first apply for a learner's permit.

2.) You must be able to meet personal and medical requirements for driving license. The Transport Agency will look into your ability to follow traffic rules, and check if you have been taken into custody by the police because you were too drunk, or if you have done any crime.

3.) Theory Test

Through the knowledge test, you should show that you have knowledge so that you can run with the review of the traffic. To get a license for AM (moped class I) you must have a passing grade on the knowledge test. You do not need to do any driving test.

The theory test consists of 65 questions. In addition, there are five test questions. The answers to the test questions are not included in the results. The test time is 50 minutes. You must correctly answer at least 52 of the 65 questions in the test to pass.

The theory test includes questions about:

• vehicle information and operation
• environment
• road
• traffic
• personal circumstances

When you are going to take the test, you should be able to demonstrate an acceptable and valid identification document. The photograph on the identification document should be good likeness. Otherwise, you do not pass the test.

4.) After the test

You must correctly answer at least 52 of the 65 questions in the test to pass. If you answered wrong on some issues, it is in the written decision which areas of knowledge the questions concerned.

Accepted theory

If your thesis is approved recorded results directly in the vehicle registry and you get your tractor cards at once. Tractor Card is a paper. You should have it with you when driving tractor on the road but it can not be used as identification.

Fail thesis

Eligibility

To get a tractor license, there are three requirements you need to meet:

1. You must have a valid driving license.
2. You must be over the age of 16.
3. You have passed the Theory Test

• If there are special reasons, you have to take tractor cards already at age 15. Then you need to age exemption from Transport Agency. The examination of the age exemption is subject to charges and costs 300 dollars to apply for. You must pay the fee before the trial takes place.

NOTE: Holders of driving licenses (AM moped class I) gives the right to drive a tractor. Driving AM going to take from 15 years to have the potential to drive a tractor at an earlier age than if you take the tractor license.

Fees

The fee for a knowledge test is 325 SEK. After 18:00 on weekdays and on weekends, the fee is SEK 400.

Need for the Document

When you operate a tractor, it is required of you as a driver to know and practice road safety. Driving a tractor or equipment class II, requires a license (regardless of qualifications) or a special tractor license.

A tractor card entitles you to drive a tractor or equipment class II (designed for a maximum speed of 30 km / h) on the way. Tractor card also grants the right to drive a moped class II.

You don't need a tractor card if you will be only driving short distances on the road, driving to or from work, between a farm estate or the like.

Custom Test

If you have difficulty reading or writing, or do not understand Swedish so good, you get to do a custom thesis. There is an oral test, samples with longer test time or test with an interpreter.

Sound Support

• It is possible to get to do the theory test using sound (in Swedish). It does not need any application for the use of sound in ordinary test time. Whoever does the theory test in another language can also get audio support in Swedish at the sample.

Prolonged test time

• Anyone who has reading difficulties may have longer test time. This means that the usual test time is increased by 50 percent. You can also get audio support in Swedish on extended test time.

Oral test

• People with very large reading difficulties (eg, because of dyslexia or other disabilities) may be permitted to make an oral examination. An oral examination means that we ask questions orally and that the person may tell you what applies based on a query or photo. If you are not sure you understand the question, you can ask us. The leading test assesses whether the answer is right or wrong. Whoever does the test do not read any text in an oral examination.
• Oral test in Swedish are available for all driver's licenses and tractor license.
• Oral test can also be done in a language other than Swedish. However, it is not the same as an interpreter test, which is for those who can not read and understand the Swedish language to the mother tongue. You can take the test with an interpreter for driving license categories AM, A1, A2, A, B, B + B96, BE or tractor, but not for other driver's licenses or skills tests.
