Apply Online:

1. To Update and Change the Details in Social Grant Application, the applicant must visit the South African Social Security Agency’s website Online Link
2. In the given link, if the applicant wants to update the “Name and Surname”, under the “Request Names and Surname Update”, the applicant must enter the changes.
3. Then, must select the “Submit” option.
4. If the applicant wants to change the “banking details”, under the “How do I change my banking details”, the applicant must enter the “ID Number”.
5. Then, a secure link will be sent to the mobile number. The applicant should follow the instructions given on the link.
6. After verification, the Mobile banking details will be changed and used for future sanctions.
7. There is no fee for updating and changing details in the Social Grant application.
8. The process will be completed immediately after submitting the request on the portal.
