Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for renewing approval of an animal for Semen collection in person, the applicant has to visit the office of The Registrar of Animal Improvement.
2. The address and contact details of the office can be found in the following link: Link
3. Visit the office and obtain an Application for renewal of the approval of an animal for the collection of semen from the relevant Department.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
5. Complete the form as required with relevant details under respective sections. After completing the application form, attach the required documents with the completed form.
6. Then, proceed to submit it to the relevant authority at the office in person for further processes. Make the necessary payment as directed.
7. Also, the application can be sent to the Postal address of the Fisheries department in the DAFF office and the required fees can be deposited in cash or by means of an Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT).
8. After submission, the completed form and corresponding documents will be put into further verification and validation processes.
9. Once all the processes got completed, the authorities will perform necessary actions for the renewal process of the Animal Semen Collection approval.

Eligibility

• Any person, who wants to move an animal that is registered for collection of semen to another centre, can apply.
• The applicant who wants perform the navigation must have a valid reason for the process.

Instructions

• Pay the prescribed fee by cheque, postal order or money order to the Director-General: Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development.

• If you are going to hand-deliver your application and your application fee, you must make sure you get a receipt of payment.

• If you are paying your fee through an electronic fund transfer, you must pay it into the respective bank account as instructed by the department.
