Procedure

Apply by Mail:

1. To Apply for Registration by Bio kineticists of Additional Qualifications, the applicant must go to the Health Professions Council of South Africa’s (HPCSA) office. Contact Link
2. The application form must be obtained from the authorities at the HPCSA office, else the application form can be downloaded from the official website linked here. Application Form Link
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The application form must be filled with all the necessary details, and along with the required documents, it must be sent via registered mail or through courier service to the HPCSA office.
5. The applicant sending mail or the courier must address the application to the “Registrar of the HPCSA”.
6. The application will then be verified by the official at the HPCSA members.
7. If the details and the documents submitted by the applicant is valid and legitimate, then the additional qualification mentioned in the application will be added to the applicant’s profile.
8. The registration fee must be paid along with the application which is R324.00, and the receipt must be attached along with the application.
9. The processing time to register the additional qualification will be intimated to the applicant after submitting the application.

• A copy of marriage certificate (should you wish to register in your married surname).
• Original degree/diploma certificates. (A copy will only be accepted if certified by an attorney in his/her capacity as Notary Public and bearing the official stamp.)
• Copy of payment receipt.

Note: Copies certified by a Commissioner of Oaths will not be accepted.

Eligibility

• The applicant must already be a registered Bio kineticists, and should possess an additional qualification to apply for registration.

Fees

• The non-refundable fee for registering the Additional Qualification in Bio kineticists is R 324.00

Validity

• The details of the additional qualification registered in the HPCSA profile of the applicant is valid forever.
