Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Obtain Bank Financial Guarantee for a Builder, the applicant must go to the National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) office in South Africa. Contact Link
2. The application form must be obtained from the authorities at the NHBRC office, or else it should be downloaded from the official website linked here. Application Form Link
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The application form must be filled with necessary details, and along with the required documents should be submitted to the officials at the NHBRC office.
5. After that the application will be verified by the officials, and if the details provided and the supporting documents submitted are legitimate, then the Guarantee application will be approved.
6. The fee for the guarantee application will be in the application by the Bank authorities.
7. The processing time to approve the Bank Guarantee application will be intimated while filing the application.

Eligibility

• The applicant with the loan application is eligible to apply for the bank guarantee approval application. The guarantee applicant needs to have an account in the bank that they are applying for the guarantee.

Fees

• The fee for the guarantee application will be in the application by the Bank authorities.

Validity

• The guarantee application is valid for 90 days from the date of issue by the Bank authorities.
