Need for the DocumentEdit

Student bursaries are privileges for students with higher academic excellence and low economic capabilities to pay for what they want to excel in. Also they are non-competitive unlike scholarships.

Information which might helpEdit

  • In most of the universities, the student need not apply separately for the bursaries. If he/she meets the requirements, they will be awarded the bursary by default and their fees will be reduced.
  • More often, the bursary will decide the way of expenditure of the funds provided. Sometimes, the amount is not as much as awarded in a scholarship.
  • Specific bursary providers will require the bursary seekers to work for their company after his/her graduation. This is an advantage the applicant as well as the bursary provider.
  • Some bursaries also have the provisions for other costs in addition to the tuition fees.

Other uses of the Document/CertificateEdit

Please explain what are other uses of obtaining this document/certificate.
