Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Get Incentives under Clothing and Textiles Competitiveness Programme (CTCP), the applicant must go to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Office in South Africa. Contact Link
2. The CTCP has been updated, revised and renamed as the Clothing, Textiles, Footwear & Leather Growth Programme (CTFLGP).
3. The applicant must submit a proposal letter to the respective authorities in the DTI office.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. All the necessary documents must be submitted to respective authorities in the DTI office.
6. After verifying the documents completely, if the company qualifies the eligibility requirements set by the DTI board, then the incentives for CTFLGP will be sanctioned to the applicant.
7. There are no fee or charges to file the incentive application.
8. The processing time will be intimated to the applicant while applying.

• Any business owners of Clothing, Textiles, Footwear, Leather & Leather Goods manufacturing industries in South Africa is eligible to apply for the CTCP/CTFLGP application.

Fees

• No fees or charges are levied for the processing or evaluation of the applications or claims.

Validity

• The validity period will be intimated to the applicant before sanctioning the fund to the applicant.
