Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for enrolling in Capital Projects Feasibility Programme in person, the person has to visit the office of Department of Trade, Industry and Corporation.
2. The address and contact details of the DTIC can be found in the following link: Link to the bottom of the page.
3. Visit the office of DTIC and get the application form for enrolling in Capital Projects Feasibility Programme from the relevant department. Or click here to download: Link
4. Complete the form as required with relevant details. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
5. After completing the application form, take a printout of the form and attach all the documents required for the process with the completed form.
6. Then, proceed to submit the package to the relevant authority at the office for further processes. Make the payment as necessary.
7. After all the processes have got completed, the concerned authorities will proceed to make the arrangements for the enrolment process.
8. The applicant can obtain any information regarding the progress of his/her request, from the office where the application has been made.

Eligibility

• The applicant or the project must be a registered legal entity in South Africa.
• The proposed project must be a new project, expansion or rehabilitation of existing project in the manufacturing sector or capital goods sectors.

Instructions

• The applicant should either register a Special Purpose Corporate Vehicle (SPCV) incorporated in the Republic of South Africa or set up a separate cost centre solely dedicated for the purpose of participating in this programme.

• The findings of the pre-feasibility study report must indicate that the project has an adequate chance of being bankable and implementable.

• Only one application will be considered per entity including its associates or connected parties and subsidiary companies during the course of the execution of the bankable feasibility project.
