Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. Visit the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) in your region to consult with the NYDA officer if you are eligible for the grant and the kind of documents you will need to provide.
2. Once confirmed, you will be enrolled for a pre-assessment process before you submit your application. The pre-assessment process will establish if you meet the qualifying criteria and assess the nature of your business and you will eventually be enrolled through the business management training which is compulsory.
3. At the end of the pre-assessment process, obtain the application form from the NYDA office or via their official website through this link: Link or download it. directly from the link provided in the “documents to use” section below
4. Fill the application form accordingly and attach the required documents to the form.
5. Submit the complete application to the NYDA office for processing.
6. The application will be assessed if it meets all the standard requirement and then approved for funds issuing.
7. Once approved, you will be notified on how to progress and obtain the issued grants.

• You must apply 3 months before you turn 35 years.
• Submission of all required documentation.
• Proof of attending Business Management Training course.
• Business Pitch presentation of 10 minutes – in person or telephonically.
• Due Diligence assessment conducted by the NYDA official on the business.
