Apply In-Person:
- To apply for motor trade number and permit in person, the applicant has to visit the nearest Registering authority in his/her province.
- The links for address and contact details of the Municipalities in all provinces can be found in the following link: Link
- Find a link as applicable to your locality and contact the Municipality to get details about registering authority nearer to your location.
- Visit the registering authoritywith all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.
- Obtain an Application and notice i.r.o motor trade number and blank temporary permits (Form MTN1) from the relevant department. Or click here to download: Link
- Now, complete the application form with appropriate information about you and the concerned vehicle.
- Attach the required documents with the application and submit it to the concerned authority at the Registering authority. Also, pay the prompted fees at the office.
- Then, the application will be forwarded to the provincial helpdesk or concerned officials for further verification processes.
- Once all the processes got over, the applicant will be issued with a Motor Trade and Permit with prior intimation from the authority.
