- To Apply for a Foreign Identification Number (FIN), the applicant has to use the following link link
- The applicant has to check the details and click the “Apply Online” button.
- Select the application from the following option.
- If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to click the “Register” button.
- Enter all the details and click the “Submit” button.
- Now, back to the home page, the applicant has to click the “login” button.
- Can use the OR code or user password to log in.
- The applicant has to enter the password and ID and click the “Login” button.
- The applicant needs to select the application.
- Enter the following details in the form and click the “Submit” button.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Once completed with all the details click the “Submit” button.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Then the application will be processed further.
- The applicant will be required to pass an exam conducted by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment. The exam will test the applicant's knowledge of surveying and mapping.
- Once the process is completed and the applicant passes the exam, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
- The applicant has to visit the office to get the license.
- This entire process can be completed within 2 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
