Apply In-Person:
- To request for a Congratulatory Message from the Prime Minister in person, the applicant has to visit the Office of the Premier.
- Address and Contact details of the office can be found in the following contact link
- The applicant has to visit the office and approach the relevant official to make the request.
- Refer to the “Required Documents” section of this page for the list of required documents/information to be provided.
- Complete the application process by following the instructions of the officer in-charge with the help of the required information.
- After completing, submit the application and the application will be forwarded to the relevant officials for processing.
- The applicant process is free and the Government charges nothing for issuing a Congratulatory Message from the Prime Minister.
- Upon receipt of the required information, the Prime Minister’s congratulatory message will be sent to the applicant on the respective date.

- To request for a Congratulatory Message from the Prime Minister online, the applicant has to visit the following apply online link
- The request form will be present in the page that opens. The applicant has to complete the request form section by section by providing the required details in relevant fields.
- The applicant should complete each section with relevant details and click “Next” section.
- After providing the required information, the applicant will reach the ‘Preview’ section in which a preview of the request will be displayed.
- Check it once and click the “Submit” button if all the information is correct. If not, click the “edit” button to edit the incorrect details.
- Once submitted, a request successful message will be displayed. Then, the application will be forwarded to the relevant officials for processing.
- Upon receipt of the request, the Prime Minister’s congratulatory message will be sent to the applicant on the respective date.

- Any person in Quebec, who is celebrating his/her 65th birthday and up at 5-year intervals, is eligible.
- Any married couple in Quebec, who are celebrating their 25th anniversaries and up at 5-year intervals, are eligible.
- Only Canadian citizens are eligible for receiving the congratulatory certificates.

The Government charges nothing for issuing a Congratulatory Message from the Prime Minister.

- To ensure on-time delivery, we ask that you submit your request at least six weeks before the event date.
- Please note that the personal information that you provide is protected under the provisions of the Privacy Act.
