Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To transfer lease of chalets from one person to another, applicant has to visit the state properties department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

3. Obtain the application form from the respective officer at MME office.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the state properties department in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, lease of chalets from one person to another will be transferred.

Required Documents

• Copy of applicant Qatar ID card.
• To transfer lease of chalets, submit the following:
  • Memo from chalet leaser.
  • Original possession certificate.
  • Copy of valid Qatari ID of both parties.
  • Old concession contract, if any.
• To transfer land through grant, submit the following:
  • Memo to director of the State Properties Department.
  • Memo from competent court to prove approval of grant.

Instructions

• Citizens can submit a request to the public and private state properties Section of the State Properties Department to do the following:
  • First: Transfer lease of chalets: this is made by a contract certified by the Real Estate Registration Department to transfer ownership from one person to another.
  • Second: Transfer of lease through grant: this is a concession from the leaser to another person.
