Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To request for authorising a commercial registration office (ministerial), applicant has to visit the Companies Control department at the MOCI office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: Application form
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the companies control department in the MOCI office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, the applicant will be requested to collect the commercial registration office License on a specified date

Required Documents

• Duly filled application form.
• Copy of the Commercial establishment.
• Manager ID card.
• Copy of the registration certificate for the company or the foreign institution commercial in its headquarters stating the commercial activity.
• A statement to the decision of the company or the foreign institution to open a trade representative office in the Qatar.
• An authorization document of the company or the foreign institution abroad for the authorized director to manage the office.
• An authorization document from the company or the foreign institution for the legal representative in Qatar.
• An Affidavit from the company or the foreign institution affirming is full liability for all the works carried out by the office in the state of Qatar.
