ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person:

  1. To request national information assurance certification, applicant has to visit the compliance and data protection (CDP) department at Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) office.
  2. For Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) office contact click here: Contact link
  3. Obtain the application form from the respective officer at MOTC office.
  4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
  6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the compliance and data protection (CDP) department in the MOTC office. The address mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
  7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
  8. After verification process, national information assurance certification will be issued.



Apply Online

  1. To apply for a home license through online, visit the following link: Online portal
  2. If you already have an account, please enter your username and password then click on “LOGIN” button.
  3. If you don’t have an account, click on “REGISTER” button.
  4. Now complete the form with necessary information then tick on ‘I agree to Terms and Conditions’ option and click on “Submit”.
  5. In the next page, please follow the screen instruction to complete the new registration.
  6. After successful login, complete the form with necessary information then you can upload the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below then click on applicable button.
  7. Once you complete this, you will be redirected to a screen in which you can review your information.
  8. After reviewing your information, pay the appropriate fees through your debit or credit card.
  9. After successful payment, now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
  10. After verification process, national information assurance certification will be issued.

  • Companies and governmental institutions that have commercial registration are eligible to apply.


FeesEdit

  • Applicable fees are as follows:
    • Submission of application to register in certification program: QR10,000.
    • Issuance of certification: QR20,000.
