Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To request demolition and reconstruction funding from Qatar Development Bank, applicant has to visit the Qatar Development Bank office.

4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the QDB office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, demolition and reconstruction funding will be provided.

Required Documents

• Copy of Personal ID Card.
• Original deed of the property and accompanying plans.
• Guarantee from the bank where the client’s salary is deposited.
• Certificate of Electrical Disconnection.
• An undated warranty check to the order of QDB in the amount of the down payment (warranty amount of QR 150,000).
• Certificate of the demolition of the old house.
• In case of applicant’s death, the following documents should be provided:
  • Identification of heirs.
  • Authorization by the persons named in the applicant’s identification of heirs.
  • Death certificate.

Instructions

• Applicant shall submit a request to the Qatar Development Bank to request demolition and reconstruction funding.
• Collection of instalments begins either after two years from the date of conclusion of the contract, or upon receipt of the full amount by the property owner, whichever is earlier.
