Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To renew collective trademark registration, applicant has to visit the Intellectual Property Rights Protection department at the MOCI office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: application form
4. Now complete the form with necessary information andmake sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the Intellectual Property Rights Protection in the MOCI office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, the applicant will be later requested to collect the renewed collective trademark registration certificate on a specified date.

• Applicant shall submit a request to the intellectual property rights protection department in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) to renew a collective trademark registration within the six months following the protection period.
