Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To obtain an agricultural consignment import license, applicant has to visit the Agricultural Affairs department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: application form
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the agricultural affairs department in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, the applicant will be later requested to collect the agricultural consignment import License on a specified date.

Apply Online

1. To obtain an agricultural consignment import license through online, visit the following link: Online Portal.
2. If you already have an account, please enter your user name or personal number and password then click on applicable button.
3. If you don’t have an account, you click on “Register now” option and enter the appropriate details then click on applicable button.
4. You will receive an SMS with the password to your registered mobile number.
5. You will be redirected to a screen in which contain login successful message and tap on the “Return to login page” option to login.
6. After successful Login, click on “Agricultural Affairs Department” option then click on the “Apply for Agricultural Consignment Import License” option.
7. Now complete the form with necessary information. Then select your purpose of import and type of consignment from the applicable field and click on applicable option.
8. In the next page you can upload the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below and click on “Conditions checked” button.
9. You will be redirected to a screen in which you can review your information. After reviewing your information, tap on the applicable option to send application.
10. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
11. After verification process, the applicant will be later requested to collect the agricultural consignment import License on a specified date.

1. Copy of commercial registration.
2. Copy of Qatar ID card.
3. Copy of certificate of origin.
4. Performa invoice.
5. Copy of the Arabic poster on the packages.
6. Copy of the establishment's registration of authorized signatories.

Additional documents for importing seeds

1. Certificate of germination and purity in the case of importing an agricultural mission of seeds.
2. Packaging label showing the following information: the type of seeds or seeds and their type, germination and purity percentage, weight, date of production and expiry, country of origin, producing company, treatment material.

• Agricultural companies, private farms and those working in this field are eligible to apply.

Fees

• Applicant has to provide insurance (Bank guarantee letter or cash receipt) with a value of QR.50/- for each palm and QR.5/- for each seed.
