Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To obtain veterinary health certificate to export wild animals and birds, applicant has to visit the livestock department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

3. Applicant has to visit the Ministry of Municipality and Environment and obtain the application form from the respective officer.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the livestock department in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, the applicant will be later requested to collect the veterinary health certificate to export wild animals and birds on a specified date.

Apply Online

1. To obtain veterinary health certificate to export wild animals and birds through online, visit the following link: Online Portal
2. Select user login type to ‘Health Certificate Service’, which is either “Individuals” or “Company”.
3. Please enter your Qatar ID card number and mobile numbers for individuals, enter the commercial registration number and password for companies then click on the “Login” button.
4. After successful login, select “Veterinary Health Certificate for wild animals and birds” option from the “New Application” menu.
5. Now complete the form with necessary information. Then you can upload the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below and click on “Send” button.
6. In the next page, pay the appropriate fees through your debit or credit card.
7. After successful payment, then print the veterinary health certificate to export wild animals and birds and receive payment receipt.

Required Documents

1. Copy of applicant Qatar ID card.
2. Copy of commercial registration.
3. Animal Health Certificate for Travel, issued by a government or private veterinary clinics including an animal identification number and report of influenza test (for wild birds).
4. Approval issued from the Protection and Wildlife Department.

Instructions

• Individuals and companies shall submit a request to the livestock department in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment to obtain a veterinary health certificate for wild animals and birds to export outside the country, after ensuring that all health terms and export requirements are met.
• Health Certificate, listed above required documents, requires the medical examination of the animal to be exported by the assigned vet.
• The health certification verification service is available for importing countries through the following link: Verification link, by entering the certificate number then clicking on “Search” button.
• The certificate is valid for 15 days from the date of issuance.
• The certificate is issued according to the language (Arabic or English) selected to fill in the application.
