Qatar - Obtain Transit Tickets to New-borns

Procedure

Apply In Person

1. To apply for a new-born transit ticket, you should visit the embassy of Qatar in the Country you are residing in, you can view then contact details and locations of Qatar embassies via this link: Link
2. Prepare the required document for the transit ticket for the new born baby application as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section below and confirm with the Qatar consulate/embassy in your region if you need to book an appoint for submitting your application through the contacts provided below in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section: Qatar Embassies Address
3. Visit the embassy and obtain the passage permits application form from the reception of the embassy and fill it as required
4. Attach all the required documents to application form and submit it to the consulate assisting officer for verification
5. The official will go through your passage permit application and if it is correct you will be advised to pay the application fee according to the embassy protocol i.e. in cash or to the bank or by credit card
6. Then embassy will address the department of nationality and passports in the Ministry of Interior regarding the application and obtain a feedback approving the application
7. After receiving the reply, a passage permit will be processed with an approval reference.
8. Visit the embassy to obtain the permit once availed for collection

• Copy of the passport or identity card of the parents showing the ID number.
• Two passport size photos of the applying
• Copy of the birth certificate of the baby attested by the official authorities and by the consulate.
