Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Toobtain environmental permit for industrial facilities, applicant has to visit the Environmental Assessment and Licensing Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

3. Obtain the application form from the respective officer at Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the environmental assessment and licensing department in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, the applicant will be later requested to collect the environmental permit for industrial facilities on a specified date.

Required Documents

• Copy of project owner QID.
• Commercial registration or establishment ID of the company executing the project or title deed.
• Site maps approved by the licensing entity, in addition to lease contract (title deed).
• Letter from the relevant government or administrative entity.
• Letter from applicant to the person authorized to follow up on the application, except for government entities, in case of submitting proof that the person is a representative or holds a similar position at such entities.
• Two softcopies and hardcopies of the terms of reference document, in case of requesting environmental impact assessment study.
• Two softcopies (CD) of each of the above.
