Apply In-Person:

  1. To obtain building demolition permit or license, applicant has to visit the technical affairs department at Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

  3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: Application form
  4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
  6. Check the application form and then submit it to the development and building permits section of the technical affairs department in the MME office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
  7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
  8. After verification process, building demolition permit will be issued.



Apply Online

  1. To obtain building demolition permit or license through online, visit the following link: Online portal
  2. After visiting website, please click on “BP System Application” option at the beginning of the main menu.
  3. If you already have an account, please enter your user name, password and verification code then click on “login” button.
  4. If you don’t have an account, please visit the nearest MME office and create your new username and password.
  5. After successful login, please select the appropriate service. Now complete the form with necessary information then you can upload the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below then click on applicable button.
  6. Once you complete this, you will be redirected to a screen in which you can review your information.
  7. After reviewing your information, pay the appropriate fees through your debit or credit card.
  8. After successful payment, now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
  9. After verification process, building demolition permit will be issued.

Required DocumentsEdit

  • Original copy of title deed and property document (recent date no more than six months).
  • For individuals: Copy of QID card.
  • For companies and institutions: Copy of commercial license.
  • Photo of the building.
  • Copy of Building completion certificate or statement from Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “KAHRAMAA” clarifying power connection date.
  • For demolition of new buildings (less than 15 years old): Building Development License.
  • For demolition of archeological buildings: Written approval from Qatar Museums Authority or a private engineering office.

  • Individuals who have valid Qatar ID card are eligible to apply.
  • Companies and institutions that have commercial license are eligible to apply.

  • Applicable fees for building completion certificate issuance are as follows:
    • Inspection to issue a demolition license: QR30.
    • Drawing of sketches (if required): QR100.
