Procedure

• This service is provided to those seeking approval on their fire safety plans from the civil defense of their projects.
  

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for approval of fire safety plans with the Civil Defense Service one needs to make an application with the General Directorate of Civil Defense of the Ministry of Interior (MOI).
2. The first step is to approach the General Directorate of Civil Defense offices where you will be issued with an Application for Approval for Fire Safety Plans form to fill and submit. The application form can be also obtained from the MOI Website or can be accessed using the following link: Application for Approval for Fire Safety Plans and filled beforehand.
3. Fill in all the required information correctly and then attach the required documents. These include two sets of project plans.
4. Submit the completed application form and required documents to :

   The Managing Director

   Civil Defense Department

   Ministry of Interior

   State of Qatar

   PO Box 6959

5. The application will be processed and you will be issued with a time of appointment to pick your approval certificate.
6. The processing time is usually between three to five days. However, the processing time may vary depending on the accuracy of the information you gave in your application form
7. Once the processing is done you will be issued with an approval certificate

Note:

• All forms are to be fully and correctly completed upon submission, failing which the submission shall be rejected.
• 2 sets of plans are required to be submitted.

• Fill in the application form Application for approval for fire safety Plans. This form can be downloaded beforehand and filled or you can pick it at the General Directorate of Civil Defense.
• Submit the filled in application form together with the required documents
• Note that; all forms are to be fully and correctly completed upon submission, failing which the submission shall be rejected.
