Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for student transfer from one government school to another, applicant has to visit the student affairs department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education(MOEHE) office.

3. Applicant has to approach the authorities of Ministry of education and higher education and obtain the application form from the respective officer.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information then mention the choice of your nearest schools and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the student affairs department in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After the verification process, student transfer from one school to another is approved based on the vacancies.
9. After transfer is approved, visit the school within the specified period to submit the original documents to confirm the transfer procedure.
   

Apply Online

1. To apply for student transfer from one government school to another through online, visit the following link:Apply online
2. If you already have an account, please enter your user name and password then click on “Access” button.
3. If you don’t have an account, you click on “Register a new account” option and enter the appropriate details then click on “Next” button.
4. You receive an SMS with the verification code to your mobile number.
5. In the next page please enter verification code and create password, then click on “Create account” button.
6. After successful Login, choose the appropriate option to transfer student from one school to another and fill out the application form, then click on applicable button.
7. In the next screen ‘school selection’ page appears. Now search for schools as per the geographical details of your home and click on confirm selection to transfer the student to a school near your home,that has vacancies.
8. In the next page attach the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below. When uploading each file, a confirmation message appears that “The file has been successfully uploaded”. After uploading all required documents, click on applicable button.
9. You will be redirected to a screen in which school data, information and information for review and order confirmation will be provided.
10. After transfer is approved, visit the school within the specified period to submit the original documents to confirm the transfer procedure.

• The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) publish the early transferring dates and schedule time, so parents check the Public Services Portal frequently to catch the announcements or updates.
