Procedure

This service allows families which a judicial ruling was issued for imprisoning the breadwinner for at least six months, with no capable breadwinner, or enough income for living, to apply for a social security pension at the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA).

Apply In-Person

1. The applicant for the Social Security Pension for a Prisoners Family, has to make an application in person to the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA). This can be done by visiting the MADLSA (offices) to complete the Application for Social Security Pension of Prisoners Family form.
2. The form can be obtained from the MADLSA Qatar offices or downloaded from the MADLSA Website, through the following link: link
3. Fill in the required information correctly .
4. The completed form is to be submitted to the licensing authorities along with the required documents. A list of the required documents is mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
6. After verification process, the applicant will be later requested to collect a new Social Security pensioner’s card on a specified date.

Note:

• The applicant should be residing permanently in the country in the time of application to qualify for the pension.

1. QID card for the imprisoned husband, as well as wife and children
2. Passports of children whose QID cards haven’t been issued
3. Education certificates for children
4. Non-marriage certificate for girls over 18 years of age
5. Certificate from the penal, correctional facility, stating the term of imprisonment
6. Certificate from the imprisoned husband's employment including the date of his salary suspension
7. Bank account information
