Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To open a New Security Services Company Branch in Qatar, the applicant has to visit Establishments and Authorities Security Department at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) offices to make the application. 2. Here you will be issued with a New Branch Opening or Closing form to fill and submit. The application form can be also obtained from the MOI Website or can be accessed using the following link: New Branch Opening or Closing Form and filled before you visit the Establishments and Authorities Security Department offices.
3. Fill in all the required information correctly, print the completed form, and then attach the required documents. The documents are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Proceed to make payment for registration using a debit or credit card then submit the application form, required documents and payment receipt to the Establishments and Authorities Security Department officials.
5. The Establishments and Authorities Security Department officials will go through the application to determine if everything is in order. If everything is in order your application will be approved.
6. The processing time is usually for three to five days. However, the processing time may vary depending on the accuracy of the information you gave in your application form
7. Once the processing is complete, the Security Services Parent Company will be given the approval to open a New Security Services Branch.

1. Copy of applicant Qatar ID card.
2. Copy of the company license
3. Copy of company registration certificate
4. Collective approval signed by partners
5. Letter from the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Vice-Chairman or Managing Director (For joint-stock companies)
6. Approval of entities concerned (in case of the security service activity requires prior approval).
7. Copy of personal identification document of partners, the applicant, and authorized signatories.
8. Copy of Application for license form with signature
9. A copy of QID of the signatory, who should be one of the authorized signatories.
