Apply online:

  1. To Request a Grant of a Philippine Patent Online, the applicant has to make the application online via the Intellectual Property Center link
  2. The applicant has to click the “FILE”.
  3. The following page re-directs to the next page.
  4. Read the information and click the “Agree” button.
  5. Complete the six steps of the process to complete the utility model.
  6. First, complete the personal information and click the “Next” button.
  7. Followed by entering the maker and agent details and clicking the “Next” button.
  8. Also, upload the necessary documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  9. Pay the required amount online mode.
  10. Once the payment gets successful, click the “Submit” button.
  11. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  12. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
  13. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  14. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  15. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
