Procedure

Apply In Person:

1. To Correction of Entry TESDA National Certificate (NC) / Certificate of Competency (COC), the applicant has to approach the TESDA National Capital Region (NCR) link
2. The applicant has to visit the regional office and submit the request letter for correction.
3. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
5. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
7. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
8. The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
9. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
10. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
11. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS.
12. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
13. The applicant correction certificate from the office.
14. This entire process can be completed within 5 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Need for the Document

• National Certificate is issued when a candidate has demonstrated competence in all units of competency that comprised a Qualification.
• Certificate of Competency is issued to individuals who have satisfactorily demonstrated competence on a particular or cluster of units of competency.
• If there is an erroneous entry in the individual’s NC/COC, the holder must apply for correction the same.

Information which might help

• The NC/COC must be released directly to the applicant. However, if to be claimed by a representative, a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) by the applicant should be submitted.
• Applicant must also present the official receipt and a valid ID upon claiming of NC/COCs.
• Falsification or fraudulent duplication of documents shall be ground for disqualification/forfeiture of the right to participate in any assessment certification or similar program of TESDA.
