Apply In Person:
- To Apply for License of under General Bonded Warehouse Law, the applicant has to approach the DEPARTMENT OF TRADE & INDUSTRY link
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. or it can be downloaded from the following link
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Then the application will be processed further.
- Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
- Once the application is approved, the BOC will conduct an inspection and evaluation of your warehouse to ensure that it complies with the requirements of the General Bonded Warehouse Law.
- Upon completion of successfully, the applicant will get the certificate from the office.
- This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

- The License of under General Bonded Warehouse Law in the Philippines is a legal permit issued by the Bureau of Customs (BOC) that allows a warehouse operator to store imported goods in a bonded warehouse without paying import duties and taxes until the goods are removed for domestic consumption or re-export.

- Once a warehouse operator is licensed under the GBWL, they can store imported goods in their bonded warehouse without paying import duties and taxes until the goods are removed for domestic consumption or re-export.
- The goods may also be transferred to another bonded warehouse or to a Freeport Zone without payment of import duties and taxes.
