Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for suspending or cancelling an Electrician License or Permit in person, the applicant has to visit the office of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA).

3. Visit the office and obtain an application form for Suspension or Cancellation of Electrician License or Permit from the relevant department.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Complete the application form with required details and information in respective fields and sections.
6. Attest it with your signature and attach the required documents with the completed application form.
7. Submit it to the relevant authority at the office and pay the Application and license Processing fee as directed by the officials.
8. After submission, the application will be assessed and attached documents will be verified as required.
9. If the submitted information is found sufficient, the officials will proceed to suspend or cancel the license.
10. The applicant will be contacted through phone or email and asked to collect the notice of suspension/cancellation, through any applicable means.
