Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. The applicants are requested to visit the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing (FMWH) for housing land subdivision and the Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment for commercial or industrial purpose subdivision of land.

5. Visit the Office and get the application form for sub division of land from the relevant department.
6. Please fill the application form with essential information and details and it should be attested with the applicant’s signature.
7. Attach all the documents that are listed in “Required Documents” section of this page.
8. Then, it should be submitted to the relevant authority. Also pay the required fees for the application process at the office as directed by the officials. Please collect the acknowledgement slip for the paid fee. Keep it safe for future reference.
9. The application and attached documents will be sent for verification to check, if there is any discrepancy.
10. After all the processes are completed, concerned officials will approve the application and proceed with the process of sub dividing the land.
11. The office will inform the applicant about the initiation of sub division of land in person or through any applicable means.

Eligibility

• Any person who wishes to sub divide the land can apply.
• The proposed land must be legally registered in the Government.
• The legal requirement of subdivisions is that the area so subdivided must be plated and approved by the local town planning commission technical staff.

• Fee for this procedure can be paid as per the authority’s request.
