Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for Single Status Certificate in person, the applicant has to visit the office of the Ministry of Interior or Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  4. Initially, the applicant has to depose to an affidavit of his/her Single status with respect to the applicant’s gender.
  5. If the certificate is to be used inside the Republic, the applicant should visit the Ministry of Interior and in the other case, the applicant should the visit the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
  6. Visit the respective office with the affidavit and other documents as mentioned in the “Required documents” section of this page.
  7. Approach the relevant department as directed by the person in-charge present there and submit the affidavit for attestation.
  8. Produce the required documents as per the demand of the relevant authority. The officer will go through the affidavit and verify the submitted documents.
  9. If the affidavit is found satisfactory and the documents are found in order, the application will be approved and the attestation will be done as per the applicant’s request.
